The aim of this intensive 5-week full-time course is to provide an informative, no nonsense, hands-on training event for serious participants in the close protection industry. The training modules have been compiled from field experience and are designed to qualify students to work either solo or as a member on a close protection team. Post 9-11 has seen a dramatic upsurge in interest by Governments, Corporations and Individuals alike, regarding close protection services. The training modules have been compiled from field experience and are designed to qualify the student in solo and small team bodyguard operations.

Pre Selection Requirements

 In order to qualify for acceptance on this training program, the following criteria needs to be met:

 Have a valid Identity Document or Passport
 Hold a valid Drivers License for a Light Motor Vehicle
 Be between the ages of 21 and 55

Comply with the following physical tests:
 Swim 50 meters without assistance
 30 x push-ups
 80 x sit-ups
 6 x pull-ups
Run 2.4 km in less than 16 minutes

Training is facilitated using an outcomes based approach, comprising knowledge and practical components. Assessments will be implemented at various stages during the course.
